Mavs/Blazers Game 2 Links

Game 2 is finally here. No more complaining about last game, and how Corey Brewer should have gotten SOME time but didn't or how the Mavs should've won by sixty but didn't because of JJ. This game will give us plenty to complain about. I can't believe some of the calls that are going to be made tonight. Outrageous.

Anyway, here are a bunch of links to get you in the mood for another playoff game.

  • Mr. Timmy M explores a robot's brain for thoughts of a letdown in Game 2.
  • Jeff Caplan gets some super standard quotes from Dirk and Tyson about subjects like fans of Portland, and team energy.
  • The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has a story about pressure, if the Mavericks have learned from last year, and if they will adapt to changes made by the Blazers.
  • Dave over at Blazersedge previews game 2, and discusses the adjustments they need to make.
  • Sportsdaydfw.com has a transcript of a radio interview (on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas) with Caron Butler in which he talks about playing again this year. He also compliments the Mavs' defense of the Blazers other than LaMarcus Aldridge.
  • And, as Marie pointed out yesterday, Tyson Chandler placed third in Defensive Player of the Year voting. Here's another link that talks about it.

That's all I've got.

The game starts at 8:30 Dallas time.

Be there, here, somewhere with a tv. Go Mabs.
