Around SBN: Why We're Skeptical Of LeBron James

The part of his quote that amuses me is when he says that they just need to win Game 4, then "go back home and see if they [the Mavs] can win in LA". Umm...I think that was already established when the Mavericks went up two to nothing. But hey, he has to say what he has to say, and I won't blame him for that.

This is as close to fatalistic as I've ever seen him...

and I can’t blame him…not with flaming out twelve wins from matching Michael Jordan’s championship legacy…

Sure, Kobe.

And you also had ‘consensual’ sex with that girl in Aspen. WINK, WINK

The dude is nuts

but as a fan I would be pissed if he said anything other than he thinks they can win.

"When people talk about Super Bowl dynasties they mention the 1970's Steelers, 1980's 49ers, 1990's Cowboys and the current New England Patriots, but nobody has dominated the Super Bowl like Anheuser-Busch. In recent years, Budweiser has been the MVP of Super Bowl advertising -- making another company the favorite to win the Ad Meter poll was never an option."

He just doesn't want to see the broom

I started out with nothing and still have most of it left

I think he is lying just as he lied last Finals

but as the leader of his team, it is his job to exude some sort of confidence to get the team’s hopes up. If he says something that “I don’t believe we’re going to win this” then that mindset will spread to the locker room

"The idea is not to block every shot. The idea is to make your opponent believe that you might block every shot."

Kobe is the sort who still thinks the Lakers will win if they lose on Sunday too. “If you want to make history, you have to do historic things. How many teams have come back to win a series after they’ve already lost it? We’re going to be the first.”

I HATE YOU MAVERICKS, DIRK, JASON, JASON, ETC

So yeah, Celtics fan here.

And I normally am alright with Dirk (dont like sharing my name with him, but alas) and I love Kidd and Terry, especially Terry. Kidd is more of an “appreciation” thing. Terry is just awesome, imo. Perfect 6th man. Bit like Ginobili (sorry! I hate Manu too!)

So anyway, the caps, bold subject line refers to you guys knocking off the Lakers.

THAT’S OUR JOB!

Thanks for you attention ;)

Good luck, and at the very least, broom them bastards.

Don't need another perfect line... Don't care if critics ever jump in line...

Hehehe *evil grin*

Success ;)

Cheers for not pulling the ban hammer m8 ;) I’m a mod over at CB, I know how it goes. Just hope it made ya smile in the end.

Keep raining threes on them Lakers, will ya?

And yehr. Being from Holland & loving the “all defense & all heart” credo, I fell in love with the way Rondo played when I started watching the NBA (hard to catch a game in Holland tbh, let alone follow everything. Thank God for ILP.)

So seeing Rondo play after something like that… man, that was ugly.

Cray, zee.

Anyhoo, good luck in your series.

Wade is cheap.

Not that you need me to say that, but Rondo falling down was no accident. Kick the shit out of the cHeat, please.

Man that is some nasty shit

That dude has my respect. For all the guys who miss games for some weak shit like a turf toe and jammed fingers, you are a Pussy…….Ronado aproves this message.

Let's get back to the Mavs......

……. Blazers fans loathe the L*kers.

Beat them. Today. Sweep! Don’t let up.

They are turning to dust before our eyes. What a beautiful thing.

Woe and misery to them and their fans.
