NBA players and owners’ heads will remain up their collective a**es until February, in turn providing Rudy an opportunity to play for both Madrid and Dallas (not sure when European schedules begin, though…).

Not even a week after the Eurobasket and he's playing preseason games

Scored 12 pts in 7 minutes (I think they’re giving him, Sergio Llull and Felipe Reyes a bit of a break since they’ve just won the gold at the Eurobasket). Unfortunately they aren’t televised anywhere (as NBA preseason games) but there isn’t even a boxscore. Kinda curious how many of those points came from Sergio Rodriguez assists … nice to see the Spanish Armada (Blazers nickname for them) back in action.

He certainly will be in gameshape when the season starts here, whenever that is, and have his confidence up so that will be good for you guys. Also sounds like he’s still very excited about playing for Dallas and has an option to stay in the NBA if he chooses so we’ll see.
