Basically, they all think less of the Mavs, compared to last Year's Survey.

Dirk… no one else is even close.

rubio will take that one very quick
at least in gm’s minds

I guess going 0-3 equals means failure to them
eh…don’t really care what they think…just hope the Mavs can get another one this year.
a few Mavs related things that I think are worth mentioning. these are just personal opinions.
- Which team will win the Western Conference?
No mention of Dallas. I like that we are still under the radar despite winning a championship. No sarcasm intended.
- Which player forces opposing coaches to make the most adjustments?
Dirk Nowitzki at number 4 seems about right, he could be higher imho.
- Who is the best power forward in the NBA?
Dirk Nowitzki. Its good to know that NBA GMs are still competent when it comes to basketball talk. Dirk is STILL the top power forward in the league.
- Who is the best international player in the NBA?
Dirk with the landslide win is a no brainer
- Who is the best perimeter defender in the NBA?
Nary a mention of Shawn Marion. Honestly, Kobe is good defensively but that’s just complete bullcrap that he is above Shawn Marion. I was just watching him defend LeBron (who Marion defended as well) and that was a poor showing in Kobe’s part.
- Which is the best defensive team in the NBA?
not even a vote for the Mavericks. again, under the radar.
- Who is the best head coach in the NBA?
Rick Carlisle at third, for me personally, is just wrong. I love Popovich, I really do, despite him coaching the Spurs but Carlisle just proved last year that he was the best head coach in the NBA. He went through POR, LAL, OKC, and MIA. And the JJB move during the finals was amazing. Carlisle, for me, should get the top vote. That’s just me though. But if there was one coach who I would give the vote for aside from Carlisle, it would be Pops.
- Which head coach makes the best in-game adjustments?
Same sentiments as above.
- Which head coach has the best defensive schemes?
Not even a vote for Carlisle, tsk tsk.
- Which active player will make the best head coach someday?
I might be biased but I’m pretty sure Kidd deserves a top 3 at least, top 1 imo. I understand why Fisher, Battier, Billups, Hill, Nash, and Paul(a) got votes but I think Kidd should actually be above them.
- Which player is the best at getting his own shot?
Dirk Nowitzki, for me, should be at least top 3.
- Which player is the best passer?
I might be in the minority here, and a bit biased, but Rubio over Kidd? Rubio’s played 14 games so far. I know Rubio’s got skills too but I’d take Kidd over him passing.
- Which player does the most with the least?
Dirk. Need I say more?
- Which player would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
We all know the truth.
