THE STORY: The Mavericks have lost in New Orleans 11 straight times. None of those games, however, were against the CURRENT Hornets, who are on a six-game skid. Still no Vince Carter tonight, and Dirk Nowitzki is OUT for 4 games. Regardless, this game needs to fall in the win column, as Jason Terry said, "to make up for those two (losses in L.A.)," Visit our good buddies At The Hive for a lesson in humility. did anybody watch the nba yesterday? the clippers got a taste of what they did to the
mavs by rubio and love it was sweet(i’m puling for the wolves to make the playoffs), the spurts lost by 2 to the kings, boston lost, lakers looking lethargic and NY is looking crappier
every game, tyson didn’t make the mavs, dallas made tyson better then he is
Saw it haha.
The last play was a thing of beauty. Love had the space he wanted. And the Clips were too dumb not to acknowledge his three ball.

NY defense didn't improve as a team.
With Melo and Stat there, I think that would be pretty hard for TC to shoulder all the defensive chores.
I also think Dallas had a better team system, that complimented Chandler's strengths
namely in rebounding, which was a Dallas sore spot for a bit, we had Kidd, D-Steve, Marion, Cardinal, Butler as a solid defensive presence and even Dirk has better D than in the past. but other than Tyson, who plays defense on that team, it sure isnt Stat or Mr. I score 50 something points but still lose a playoff game, to later be swept, Anthony.
Dirk has only missed 41 games. Even when he misses games it's so gorious, DIIIIIIIIRRRRRKKKK!!!!

I just find that Denver's high-octane offense is just perfect for him.

They’ve got Mr. Pringles as a coach, Amare, Carmelo, and Chandler. Do they need a legitimate point guard or something?

I didn’t catch the game, but with Kidd and Terry combining for 3-22 shooting and no Dirk or VC, it’s a good sign that others could step up even if the Hornets are a bad team.
