WHAT: Is anyone else overwhelmed by the amount of basketball happening?
WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
WHEN: 7:30pm CT
HOW: FSSW | League Pass
THE STORY: Same old, same old. Dirk Nowitzki is still out. Vince Carter might play. Shawn Marion is on his game right now, and Jason Terry and Jason Kidd are starting to get their feet back under them. Lamar Odom is still eh. Delonte West has replaced Carter on the injured list with a hammie injury. The last time these two teams faced, Dallas was victorious. Hopefully without any distractions (no more ceremonies, please. too much crying) they can win again. Pop in to SLC Dunk for more on the Jazz.

It is good for the fans.
But I think 2-4 games could have been sacrificed for the players to get in shape (although, Stern and the owners probably jizzed themselves about starting the season on Christmas day).
Training camp
There ain’t shit happening mid-summer. Why can’t they push everything back a month. Have the full training camp, the 66 games, the full playoffs. Goes into July. So what?

i've never seen so many teams in the western conference who have a shot at the playoffs
i like the intensity of the competition and its gonna heat up as the season goes along
The ammount of injuries arount the league
is pretty staggering. This shortened schedule is really hurting a lot of players.

most of them are not serious though, probably players were not in game shape
not knowing if and when the lockout gonna end
Damn, hes talented but every year he gets a freak injury that takes him out for the year.
Strangely enough, my player was drafted to the Bucks in 2k11, and Bogut was healthy all year, led the league in rebounds (with my guy coming in 2nd =)). This season’s probably gonna hold a record for injuries.
