THE STORY: Jason Kidd is out with a strained calf. Dirk Nowitzki is *playing*. Looks like Rodrigue Beaubois might be getting that start with Kidd out, and Delonte West was wearing a uniform and participating in shootaround, so he's *definitely* a go. Visit Pounding the Rock if you feel like consorting with the enemy.

ok here's what i think,
we win games even with Dirk playing like crap.
I guess our team will be scary when he gets his groove back?
I'd worry more about Kidd and/or his backup's ability to orchestrate the offense
i’m confident dirk will get back, but can kidd still get back to where he was last playoffs? if he can’t, can carlisle get the team to function at that level without him.
to me these are the big questions for this year.

At the end of the day all anyone will remember is that we won, but we still got a long way to go, but you can live with this verses the other option. Phoenix tomorrow night will be major tough as a lot of guys played a lot of minutes, but you never know.

If you read the last comments…you’d think we’d lost. I went out when we were up by 10…then this.
we were up 17 a point, pop waived the white flag and put the reserves. they came back and were up some in the 4th
roddy and jet brought us back and we got to OT. At OT we did our thing and won it
honestly, it's on carlisle (who i love)
he finally managed the o.t. fairly well, which, i guess, is something.

but in OT he did a good job
i'll always remember Nellie taking the blame for blowing a big lead over Lakers in '03

positives of the game ... Roddy played really well again
he brought us back in the 4th and had 14(7-16)/7A/3Boards/3Block/1TO
the thing that bothered me the most with roddy's playmaking was
he was really slow in passing to dirk in the pick and pop. other than that he was great
