We'll miss you Dirk. Get better. SOON. - Ronald Martinez
According to Mavericks PR, Dirk went ahead and got his knee scoped. Better now than later.
It's finally happened. Dirk Nowitzki underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He will be able to resume on-court activities in six weeks. Knowing Dirk, he should heal quickly and efficiently.
The surgery was performed by team orthopedic surgeon T.O. Souryal.
No Dirk for six weeks, per Mavs announcement of surgery. Will miss minimum 16-17 games. Mavs in serious lottery danger.
