I'll keep this short and sweet because the main purpose of this is to get you guys to discuss on the comments.

For those of you who haven't heard, Kobe came out and said that the Lakers are still "his team". Despite Howard, Nash, everything, Kobe is sure that is still his team. And it very well might be. I certainly still think it is. But it got me thinking. How much longer are we going to be Dirk's team?

If we bring in a star next free agency, one more talented but perhaps with less respect from our fanbase, how long will it be until it is his team? Will it be Roddy's? Some other young player waiting? Maybe the question I should be asking is "What will it take for Dallas to stop being Dirk's team?"

I'd like to see how much longer you, the fans, believe we will be "Dirk's team". 2 more years? 3? Discuss.
