Is DoJo Donezo? - Peter G. Aiken-US PRESSWIRE
The roster stands at 18, and final cuts must be made by Monday.
The Mavs have officially signed Chris Douglas-Roberts and Melvin Ely.

Update: Mavs waive Ely and Douglas-Roberts. Roster now down to 16.
That means that the roster stands at 18 including Eddy Curry. The team has until Monday to cut the roster down to their final 15. So what does this mean?
Rumors are circulating that Delonte West still has an opportunity to stay with the team and there's no question that depth at point guard is severely lacking. Way back in the PG lineup is third-year Maverick Dominique Jones, who has impressed in Frisco and Vegas, but failed to make an impact with the actual team. If he and West are the two players cut to make room for Ely and Douglas-Roberts, then who is the third to go?
We could always go with andytobo's suggestion:
Mavs to cut Dirk, make room for Melvin Ely
