- Dirk is playing more than two years. He previously mentioned he might think about retirement when his current contract expires in 2014, but most people had their doubts he would actually just step away from the game then. Here's further confirmation.
- More Dirk stuff: he's not a fan of the flopping. More specifically: "it's a bunch of crap". I have my doubts about the proper enforcement, but if it helps just a little bit, then that would be awesome.

Dirk got some German honor, which is awesome for him. The award will fit very nicely right in the shadow of his championship trophy.
- A second Cooperstein article hypes up the opening preseason game the Mavericks are about to play, and not much else. Still, gotta love seeing content from people who don't have an ocean between them and the team.
- That's about it. The game tomorrow is at 1 p.m. CST, but there will be a replay on TXA21 for those Dallas residents at 7 p.m. Tune it to one or both.
