News and notes for your Dallas Mavericks on Thanksgiving day, November 22nd, 2012
Happy thanksgiving everyone! So what are we thankful for after a much-needed win against the Knicks?
- Tim McMahon is thankful for a "vintage performance" Wednesday night from Vince Carter, who poured in 25 points, including 5 threes, in route to the victory.
- McMahon also gives thanks to O.J Mayo, who he opines may be an important part of the future. I think that's a very cloudy situation to predict. Let's just keep our appreciation in the now, shall we?
- Mark Cuban is thankful for Dirk Nowitzki, who he thinks he won't be able to resign....when Dirk is 74 years old.
- Dirk himself is thankful for being able to play basketball, which he says he plans on doing "until at least 2016".
- The Dallas media as a whole seems very thankful Jason Kidd received a standing ovation last night. I'll just move on from that one.
- Dennis Rodman would be really thankful if you gave him $59 to be able to watch a game with him.
- Speaking of handouts, apparently some Dallas players gave out some turkeys, which is cool.
And that's it! Enjoy your holiday(and for those abroad, enjoy your thursday!).
