THE STORY: The last time these two teams faced off, Dallas fell to the Clippers on a last-second three-pointer from Chauncey Billups. After a double-overtime win against Portland the other night, the Mavericks are looking to extend their win streak to four tonight. Dirk Nowitzki had an off-night after proving to the world why he still deserves to be an all-star, but Delonte West stepped up in his place and helped lead the Mavericks to victory. no I agree, but we still did a lot of mistakes, up by 6 with a little over a minute to play and then foul and then take a bad quick shot and the lead is one. Then we give up a 3 and then turn it over and what was almost the end of the game for us

suddenly had a flashback of that game where Kidd in bounded the ball to an opponent. We were lucky then too.

See the thing about Kidd is that he's usually so clutch
in the 4th that the one mistake he makes stands out. It’s like when Dirk misses shots everyone freaks out because he usually makes them.
Although I hope Kidd does fix those throws, at least I hope Carlisle mentions it to him and drills it into him.

Spurs are the biggest threat to Mavs in the West this year...
Still glad we didn’t have to play them last season. I have a feeling that would not have ended well.

they're facing some pretty lame teams now...
but will be going for a tough stretch soon. Will be interesting to see how well they do there.

nice when the refs help you out down the stretch. Even with Blake chocking at the line we had the chance with K Mart getting the and 1 foul AND Dirk fouling out. Completely different game if the refs make that foul call.

officiating has been bad all around the NBA
I don’t think missing FREE throws can be called as something that is out of the Clippers’ control. They had their chances and missed them.

Dirk will be a beneficiary of superstar calls. just about any other superstar.
Refs will miss and blow calls more often than not. Results of course will favor one over the other team.
It’s just how the NBA goes. We’ve been through that (see 06 finals). So we could care less.
Anyway, it’s nice to see fans of other teams give their opinion, and not necessarily troll or whatsoever.
Clippers will make the playoffs the way it looks right now. On the other hand, we Mavs fans wish that Mavs get it all right come playoff time. We look forward to a good exciting playoff matchup if it happens. Goodluck to your team.

But he has just came back from injury, and said his leg hurt to Carlisle/West after playing 31 min. against the Trailblazers so I think Carlisle was cautious.

i like what i'm seeing, not always the play on the court but the mavs
