THE STORY: Despite his best efforts, Dirk Nowitzki couldn't carry his team over the phenomenon that is the New York Knicks. Tonight they face a struggling Boston team who may still be without Kevin Garnett. Rajon Rondo will be suspended as a result of his ejection from the Detroit game so Boston is even more depleted. Dallas will still be without Delonte West (finger) and Rodrigue Beaubois (personal) but hopefully Jason Terry used the Knicks game to get back on track and will contribute more in the backcourt tonight.
