According to Earl Sneed, the Mavericks are in the process of waiving Sean Williams. This would be an unusual time to do that, given the fact that the Mavs were outrebounded last night about 4 million to 3, so one guesses they are making room for another player.

Since there's no one in the D-League, my guess is it will be Boris Diaw, although there are rumors that the Celtics are considering waiving ex-Mavs Marquis Daniels, and the Mavs may, and likely do, know something we don't. We'll keep you posted.
