THE STORY: We knew going into this stretch that it would be tough to face a bunch of playoff caliber teams in a short amount of time. And so we're seeing some crappy basketball being played by the champs. Dirk Nowitzki had a bad night, Lamar Odom didn't even play. The Rockets are right up there with the Mavericks, vying for playoff seeding, and they just beat two teams that trounced Dallas (the Lakers and the Warriors).
