Durant's Historically Low Field Goal Percentage vs. Dallas

I exchanged the following texts last night with a hater Rockets fan, doing my best to validate our loss and prove that we still have a chance to win this series.

Me: Westbrook can't shoot like that all series.
Him: Yea. But Durant won't shoot sub 40% all series either.
Me: He does that historically vs. Dallas...

When I made my rebuttal, I wasn't too sure how factual the claim was. I remember a few horrible shooting nights for KD here and there against us. I had flashbacks of Marion swatting his mess and contesting every shot. But I wasn't sure.

That being said, I decided to do some research. KD's career shooting numbers vs. Dallas are below:
Regular Season [17 games]: 122-299 (40.8%)
Playoffs [7 games]: 60-149 (40.2%)
Overall [24 games]: 182-448 (40.6%)

For a player with a career 46.8% shooting percentage, these numbers are astounding. The power of Mr. Marion. As long as Westbrook cools down (and Durant remains the same), these Mavericks can win this series.
