Lamar Odom is officially no longer a Maverick, as Mo Williams has opted in to his contract and the trade between Dallas, Utah and the Clippers is completed. Dallas will take back no salary in this trade, but the deal is perhaps notable for its timing. By not extending their deadline to waive Odom into July, the most obvious chip in a potential sign and trade deal for Deron Williams is now gone. How significant this is...we'll find out soon enough.
