Through twitter, Deron Williams has announced his decision to resign with the Nets, for the max deal of nearly $100 million.

I am sure we are all experiencing some level of intense, instinctive emotional response to this news, but I urge everyone who posts here and elsewhere in the SB Nation community to be respectful. Set an example for mature discourse even if all others do not follow it(don't worry, they'll be banned shortly if they go overboard).

Dallas will not explode because of this news. They still have cap space. They still have Dirk Nowitzki. So, the sky isn't falling, no matter what anyone tells you. We all wanted Deron Williams, but he's not the only good player out there. So, keep some perspective.
