I beacame a maverick fan after jkidd was traded from the nets... but as jkidd felt this season is going nowhere with Jet leaving and the deron heartbreak, Dirk is helpless.. I thought it was great business move by Donnie Nelson and Cuban to risk not to defend on a cheaper team last year, but it'll bite them at their rears if things don't workout this off season.

Never have i appreciate a player after a player more than Dirk, humble, so damn great shooter and leader. Being a maverick fan for 5 years was the best active sports fan i have ever been, commenting on game time threads, opinions of the game, after the facts.. DOH's hilarious post game postings.. i'll miss the poking we did on JJ sucks, crop duster jet, the janitor moniker, jim carey, "soap hands" erica damps, LJ's father love to jkidd (?), Ben and SKin show, boshtrich,avery, odoom..

The summer of 2011 was the best time being a sports fan for me and my wife would never forget it till we die.. (oh drama but its true). I really hope, Jkidd would retire as a mav.. but as a fan for him for 18 yrs (yes, rookie cards..) i think he is not after the retired jerseys.. he can have it with the nets before when he made a legacy for the team. But mavericks gave him a chance to have a ring again going to war with Dirk.

Sad, this is the best community fanbase for basketball i have been into and i have to leave it.. (obligatory switch to NY). God bless Dirk and thank you, we never forget summer of 2011. For the last time for me.... LETS GO MAVS!
