Yo. You seen my sock game? (Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)
We're sliding into that scary part of the summer where LITERALLY nothing is happening. You'll have to forgive us as we desperately try to provide content. What you can rely on, however, is that we're going to try and get you at least a little bit of Mavericks-related stuff to browse each and every day. Key word: TRY.
- Elton Brand paid a visit to his hometown to run his annual basketball clinic. He was interviewed by the Peekskill-Cortland Patch about his NBA career and such.
- Earl K. Sneed discusses whether or not rookie Jae Crowder will be able to crack the rotation this season. With the way Rick Carlisle raves about him, it almost seems like he might stand a chance. Unless, of course, he ties his shoes wrong.
- ESPN's Jeff Caplan will be taking a look at the positional breakdown. He started today with the Point Guard spot, where the Mavericks had to start from scratch after Jason Kidd signed with New York.
- Shawn Marion has a thing for socks. If you don't follow him on twitter or instagram, you're missing out.
