I've never been a big fan of Jae Crowder, but right now small forward is arguably a weaker position than center. Marion and Vince are just not getting it done anymore and the time they are on the floor, the team is hurting. Crowder is by a huge margin the best SF on our team according to advanced statistics:
I think if Wright is healthy and producing like last year, moving Wright and Crowder into the starting lineup seems the best move for the team at this point. That leaves us with a strong bench of Harris, Carter, Marion, Blair and Dalembert. If Carter's game doesn't return, maybe Ellington should take more of his minutes.
Also, I think the decline of Marion and Carter indicates we should move sooner for a SF via trade instead of waiting for the offseason. It's possible players like Ariza, Deng and Aminu are available who could step in and be superior starters to Marion or Carter.
