Point Guard Prospects

We all know that our PG position has been very erratic (to say the least) for this season. The FO tried going the moneyball way by signing short term contracts to veterans who are wayyyyy past their prime and wasn't even that good (JKidd type of good) in their younger years. Here are my ideas for some PG prospects:

1) Eric Bledsoe (LAC) - This guy will be a hot commodity and everyone in the league knows it. He's a starting PG caliber for any team and he's too good to play 2nd option to the best PG in the league. He's not a good outside shooter but his upside is just too much to pass.

2) Andre Miller (DEN) - We all know by now Rick Carlisle's propensity for not playing Collison on end game or against heftier guards. Miller is a bit unhappy with his role in Denver as per this article and wishes to play more minutes. Miller is our best chance to reincarnate JKidd and our best option to put Mike James away for good.

3) Iman Shumpert (NYK) - With Felton, Kidd and Prigioni manning the point for the Knicks and JR Smith hogging the ball with Melo, very little opportunity is left for a talented prospect like Shumpert to shine. Mayo struggles defending offensive minded guards and Shumpert will be the perfect compliment for him (like how Tyson is to Dirk). Shumpert can switch to guarding the tougher assignment and have O.J. focus more on the offensive end of the court.

Any of these 3 PGs will make an instant upgrade to our PG rotation.
