THE STORY: Dallas split a pair of games against the Rockets, which is better than I had hoped for, to be frank. The good news is that Detroit is no Houston. They've been struggling, and have been hit by the injury bug. Greg Monroe is questionable with a bum ankle tonight. As for the Mavericks, they've shown sparks of a functional team with all its parts working in sync. It would be delightful if they could sustain that.
