I have the solution for the free throw problems; this would be fair for all sides and would solve the ongoing debate a couple simple rule changes. 1) When a team is fouled and the other team is over the foul limit and the foul occurs off the ball our in a non shooting motion the team that is fouled decided whether to shoot the free throw or take the ball on the side. 2) Free throw system is now a 1 and 1 meaning; if you miss your first free throw you do not get another one. 3) There needs to be some exceptions; if the shooter is fouled during a shooting motion he must shot a 1 and 1 free throws. 4) If a flagrant foul is called the team that is fouled gets to choose who shoots the flagrant foul free throws and this is one time when the 1 and 1 is not enforced. 5) Clear path foul is also not a 1 and 1 and the team gets both free throws period. This should cover all aspects of the free throw problem the game will not get slowed down fouling dwight late game for fun and it will not help you; but fouling him during a shot attempt or dunk would be ideal. This would mean clear path and flagrant fouls are also a huge disadvatage as well.
