Khem Birch - a little undersized for the 5 but a great rebounder and shot blocker, had the second best Ortg-Drtg differential of everyone in draft consideration and his shot blocking percentage was just under Embiid, he would be a great third big and could develop into a reliable but unspectacular backup over time
Roscoe Smith - undersized for a 4 but a hustler who had the second best rebounding percentage of everyone in draft consideration (20.49) (only Embiid had a slightly higher percentage at 20.82) so the size isn't holding him back too much, Mavs could always use more help on the boards, 8th in Ortg-Drtg differential of everyone in draft consideration with everyone above him except Birch getting drafted so again despite his size he is a plus defender, using a roster spot for a young specialist isn't the worst idea since we will definitely have plenty of folks that can score
DeAndre Kane - 9th best 3pt% of those in draft consideration (everyone above him except Jabari Brown was drafted), 6th in assist percent and Ast/TO ratio (everyone above him except Bryce Cotton was drafted), 1st in rebounding percent of guards in the draft, 11th in FTA per 36 again with everyone above him except Jabari Brown getting drafted, so what's the catch? he's 25, even still I think he's worth taking a look at, he is a plus defender and would come in with a mature attitude and game a lot of which should translate well
Patric Young - it is a running theme but he is a little undersized for the 5 where he needs to play due to lack of range but he is built like a linebacker, is a tremendous athlete, has been a leader on good college teams, and plays very hard defense, all of which would make him a good addition to any locker room
Jabari Brown - he's a shooter that can space the floor, he doesn't really do anything else that could translate to the NBA but if the Mavs have a spot open you can never have too many shooters on cheap contracts and if his defense improves he could be playable
James McAdoo - an crazy athlete and a solid defender but everything else is up in the air, not a good rebounder, ball thief, shot blocker, jumpshooter, or anything of note and has shown little development over his college time, he hustles and can play defense though so he could work his way into something useful
Other undraftees of note: Artem Klimenko, Deonte Burton, Jahii Carson, CJ Fair, Cristiano Felicio, Ioannis Papapetrou (say that five times fast), Jordan Bachynski, Melvin Ejim, LaQuinton Ross, Kendall Williams, Bryce Cotton, Keith Appling
Who would you like to see in the Mavs summer league or at the end of the bench?
