Is there something in the water in Dallas?

Not so very long ago, I pondered the following about the history of the Mark Cuban era, put in perspective of previous Mavs owners and one infamous other owner in Dallas we all know and uh...love.

Is There Something Rotten in the Land of Dirk?

This came on the heels of my non-apologistic disdain for the unceremonious liquidation of the 2011 Title team (screw you "financial flexibility" - what have you done for me lately) and a long history of head-scratchers that can be "explained" but just haven't worked. Now, as we wave goodbye to Jose Calderon, more painfully Vince Carter and quite probably Shawn Marion, I have to wonder what is the long term prognosis, especially as Dirk winds down his career?

Recently on Sirius XM's NBA Radio's "Bottom Line Sports Show" host Gerald Brown commented "The Spurs are who they are because they take care of their own." Read the history above #MFFL's and please chime in on what you think about a history that sometimes looks like paradise lost.
