A nice photo of Dirk going against Odom in a pre-Olympic exhibition game in 2004 won by team USA 80-77.Btw Germany was not qualified for the Olympic games Athens 2004.

Mavs new alternate uniforms from the Mavs Twitter account. Don't get me wrong, these look great, but why do the Mavs keep using this same font and lettering for their alternates, yet refuse to go back to the retro green? Those were perfect.

Looks like for the first time since June 30, we finally see current NBA players (in their uniforms) on the NBA.com website. As you can see, Dirk Nowitzki is front and center to welcome us back to NBA basketball.

I can't wait for NBA basketball to start once again!

A new site called 7th Inning Sketch created a nice little cartoon of our man Dirk.

I know that Mark Cuban has contemplated not getting the Mavericks championship rings. In the event that he really doesn't give them rings, Bazooka Candy Brands is sending their own candy bling to the team. Bazooka is the company which makes Ring Pops, and the famous bubble gum of the same name.

I don't know if you've seen this story yet, but I do find it amusing.
