The D.A.Y. Croshere Beat the Sonics
First off, Congratulations to Josh Howard on the birth of his first child. Congratulations to Austin Croshere for a career night and deserved standing ovation. And congratulations to Seattle for having no defense whatsoever.
| Rating | Avg | - | |
| Dirk Nowitzki | 7 | 8.4 | Quiet night, but to be fair Avery kept his minutes down and and he was more than happy to play second fiddle for a night |
| Jason Terry | 8 | 7.2 | Exactly the kind of night I like him having |
| DeSagana Diop | 5 | 6 | Gave Seattle quite a few offensive rebounds |
| Anthony Johnson | 5 | 5.8 | Someday this season he'll probably have a Croshere game too, someday... |
| Jerry Stackhouse | 6 | 6.5 | Some nice distribution, but the first things I judge Stack by is FG% (2-8 tonight) |
| Greg Buckner | 8 | 6 | Played fantastic offensively, but his D kept him on the floor |
| Devin Harris | 8 | 7.1 | Active defensively and was penetrating all night |
| Erick Dampier | 5 | 6.8 | Made no impact |
| Austin Croshere | 10 | 5.9 | eFG% of 1.04 for 34, some rebounds, some assists, and all in 24 minutes. The reason for the blowout. |
| Devean George | 6 | 6.5 | Just OK |
| Moe Ager | 6 | 5.5 | He jacked up a 3 in his minute, but he made it |

Dirk on the bench
Dallas had 63 points from the bench. You know you're a good team when you're bench can beat most team's starters. Then if you count the way their players are doing in the DLeague, you have to be impressed with the Mav's depth. If someone goes down or has to miss time (like Howard) there are plenty of guys that can step in with team not missing a beat.
