Ugh....
Maybe a little too much party boy after the GS win...

I didnt know that the mavs were LAST in offensive rebounding and 4th to last in rebounding all together.  Does that surprise anyone?  With offensive, I guess our fg % has been one of the best, but I always considered us a decent rebounding team.

Well, just looking at the box score, we are again getting out rebounded 22-16.

Mo shots got some time in the 2nd, I guess we are that thin.  Barrea j5 and JET look good.  Dirk has only taken 3 shots, for 7 points.  Bass had a sweet block.  Diop hassell and everyone else has just been... blehh..

diop
ok, diop is rebounding now like crazy... go figure... still cant get a ball to go in on those tip-ins though

i think mavs should put balls in dirk's hand more,
but then i noticed that dirk will immediately pass the ball out to someone else.

yes, dirk is the focus of their defense, but i don't believe they are so good that dirk cannot shoot.

yeah...
hes been timid as of late... I cant believe they are still in this game.

Good thing they have now played 2 teams in a row that cant hit a free throws, or else this would be really ugly.

Also doesnt help when you shoot 30 PERCENT FROM THE FIELD!

FG%
so many turn around jumpers for the mavs, and they arent hitting any of them! and now they cant connect on layups

finally
bass DUNKS a ball...

by Toddy on Nov 10, 2007 11:02 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

They are sucking
Taking all sorts of outside shots when their FG% is horrible.  Bass is playing well, I have to say.  The double team swarms Dirk so quickly, kind of like with Golden State.

mmm...
dirk often passed the ball out BEFORE double team came.

now they do not even bother to double team dirk. and dirk still cannot hit.

it is blazer who played last night
but mavs just seemed FLAT.

starting from dirk, they seemed to go through motions, and can't wait for the game to be over.

i know there are some guys unavailable. but those who are available at least should gave it a fight. when only diop and bass are your aggressive players on court, you are in deep trouble.

what a weird game...
all the bad calls seem to favor the mavs, we are hustling down every missed shot, but cant seem to put anything together.

Roy just put the blazers up 14.  I still like like we are in it though because no one has stepped up all game for the mavs and one has to think SOMEONE will come through.

I'm watching the game through league pass
and the announcers from portland are raving about bass... how did NO let him go?

by Toddy on Nov 10, 2007 11:10 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

dirk fumbles the ball
and of course bass picks it up and gets yet another dunk... still down by 12 though

Offensive foul on Dirk?
Pryzbilla had the same kind of pick on Terry at the end of the half and there was no call!

ROY

Blazers
are going to be good in a few years when odem gets back and develops.

Here is nick fa-whatever...  this should be fun to watch

Barea
should play more... I know he is small, but he has so much potentially offensively.  He may have been the spark that could've gotten us in this game

hey guys
visiting Blazers fan checking in.

Every time Terry, Stackhouse, Nowitzki or Howard teed up a 3, I cringed, thinking "this team has too many shooters to stay this cold."  The Blazers very very fortunate to catch the Mavs on what will probobly be their worst shooting night of the season.

The Blazers couldn't grab a defensive board or hit a  FT but they played well in most other facets of the game.

I can't even remember the last time we beat you guys, so I'm happy about it, no matter how it happened.
