Day Before Thanksgiving Links

The only thing that didn't make last night's comeback (box score) great was that I'd seen it before and already knew the ending. When Toronto's lead reached 24 (49-25!) in middle of the second quarter I was admittedly a little worried. Then Avery turned the offense over to Devin Harris (literally having everyone else just stand to the side while he tried to create). The Mavs went on a quick 12-0 run and I knew the comeback was inevitable.

Seeing Dirk go crazy at the end of the third was just a bonus.

Nowitzki rediscovered his shooting stroke, putting up a season-high 32 points, 26 in the second half and a remarkable 12 in a row on four 3-pointers, all swishes, in the final 1:41 of a booming third-quarter comeback.
Sefko also has a Dirk-centric game recap. As does Art Garcia.

A possible interesting development last night. Moe Ager played the 150 second and then didn't see the court again until the final seconds. Trenton Hassell started in his place to start the second half. He stayed on the court for the entire quarter in which the Mavs outscored Toronto by 21 points.

Another Terry and Dirk car commercial. This time you get to hear Dirk say "lifetime powertrain warranty". You can tell it took him about 50 takes.

This Day in Mavs History
1995 Jason Kidd had a triple-double with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. It was the 9th time a Mavs player had a triple-double and the 5th of 13 times Kidd had a triple-double with Dallas.
