Eddie Sefko gears up for the Golden State game tomorrow night by seeing if a real rivalry is brewing.
"Well, I think in the situation we're in, when a team eliminates you from the playoffs, I sure would hope you're not trying to necessarily send anybody any Christmas gifts," Nowitzki said.
"When you play a team in the playoffs, you learn to hate people and hate teams. So definitely, Golden State is one of them."
Or Avery?

Hubbard has an article about Diop's improvements so far this season, but it was a small blurb on Erick Dampier that really caught my eye.

JJT has praise for the hard work Diop put in this offseason and says it's already paying off.
No way he makes that play last year.

Around the NBA: The night after losing to Dallas, Houston beat San Antonio. Obviously this means Dallas is better than San Antonio.
Golden State lost to Cleveland and will come into tomorrow's rematch at 0-4. And while we're talking Golden State, here's is Baron Davis taking the worst dive ever.
Chris Paul, of the division leading Hornets, had 21 assists last night.

Roy Tarpley
That 88-89 team was the one that took the showtime Lakers to 7 games in the Western conference finals, right?
I was only 7 at the time, but I remember being very upset. Aguire, Tarpley, Blackman and Derek Harper... those late eighties teams had some serious talent.
