04/11: Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves Open Thread

That last time Dallas played Minnesota they had their best defensive game in franchise history. I'm not expecting to see that again, but hopefully the young guys can find a way to keep this one intersting/entertaining.

Just watching the substitutions
It looks more like an October game than an April game.

I sure hope
That he's doing it remotely.  I wouldn't doubt that AJ will fine him otherwise...

Maybe it'll come out of his MVP bonus.

I take it
that Harris was just resting?

by BrodyV on Apr 11, 2007 9:20 PM CDT up reply actions

Yes
He was dressed, but Avery was only going to play him if he had to.

Yes
The Mavs and Stars are my favorite teams.  I think the Stars will fly under the radar and shock some so-called experts.  This is the year Turco bounces back and has a strong playoff run.

GO STARS!

The young bench guys played well tonight
JJ and Moe looked good, and props to Diop on his first double-double of the year.  He's peaking at the right time.

I'm also happy about the W.  I could care less about 70, but finishing with a top-ten NBA win-loss record while resting key players would be fantastic.

Did I hear correctly that the Mavs just need one more win (66) to accomplish that?
