Unfortunately
There's another game right now that will probably be a little more competitive that's grabbed my attention.

However, I want to see three things from this Mavs game:

  1.  A continuation of the solid defense they've played over the last 5-8 games.

  2.  Somebody (especially Bass) stepping up and bearing down on Kaman.

  3.  Our reserve guards taking high percentage shots.

Agreed...
Hard not to miss the first quarter with other action... looking at it now, we see how much j ho not being in the game affects us and bass could be a legitimate starter at most .500 teams in the league.

Damnit
I wish I'd seen that ending...

terrible execution from clipper
in their last possession, if they just dribbled out the shot clock, it'll be a turnover, mavs ball with 2 seconds left, down 2.

but they chose to take a tough shot with 8 seconds left...

JJ Barea
sparked Dallas' comeback with a three-pointer.  Brandon Bass was great.  Jason Terry made a mistake in the last seconds by turning the ball over.  Clippers would have won the game if Tim Thomas didn't take a shot with 8 seconds left in the game.  Stackhouse made a three at the buzzer after JT pass.  Mavs win!!!!

Stack Attack!!!
Not a particularly great game by the Mavs, but an exceptionally great WIN! In fact, it was AWESOME! Don'tcha just love Stack???!! And the way the guys celebrated afterwards...I loved it! Even Avery got into it. They outrebounded the Clips which kept them in the game. It wasn't always pretty, but it was gutsy. Way to go Mavs!!
