I'm really
disappointed that TNT didn't pick up this game.  I'd love to be able to watch it.  Maybe I can sopcast it...

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 6:48 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Hmm
I can't find a sopcast stream.  If someone else does, I'd love a link.

Try this
http://www.channelsurfing.net/

And choose the NBA TV China link.  I'm testing it now...audio works, but I'm not getting any video.  My player could be old.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 7:34 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Hmm, yea
I can't find one.  Well, it's time to listen to Faliwell and Davis.

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 7:43 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Surprising
considering it's on NBATV

by Wes Cox on Jan 2, 2008 7:40 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Yay
Other people are commenting tonight and not just me :)

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 7:29 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I wish this was on HD
It looks a bit fuzzy right now.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 7:43 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

It's supposed to be
but locally just the standard def signal is getting sent out right now.  Pregame was in HD...

by Wes Cox on Jan 2, 2008 7:45 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I've said it before
But if Damp had been healthy, we win that series.

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 7:45 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Damn
Maybe somebody needs to double check the basket heights...

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 7:47 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nellie didn't dress up tonight
Unlike the first game between these teams, when he had on a nice shirt and a tie.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 7:47 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

That was a flop by Ellis
Jones didn't lean in that much, did he?

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 7:50 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Great first quarter
36 points already...I hope they can keep this up.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 8:08 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I love
seeing Dirk make three.  No idea why.

by Wes Cox on Jan 2, 2008 8:31 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Because
that's what makes him a special player.  I think one of the reasons his efficiency has decreased in the last few years is that he backed off shooting them, and defenses started creeping closer and closer in to him.

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 8:36 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Damn
single digits at the half

by Wes Cox on Jan 2, 2008 8:40 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Oh, come on
That is not at all a foul

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 9:25 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Wow
Those blocks by Dirk...he rarely blocks!  And he got two in a row, no less.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 9:41 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Followed by the spinning Stack layup
That was a fun 30 seconds.

And if there any doubt that Davis would have nailed that three in the playoffs last season?

by Wes Cox on Jan 2, 2008 9:42 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

The over
was nowhere near high enough.

by BrodyV on Jan 2, 2008 9:57 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Awesome
This is how you respond after a break from games.

by Marie on Jan 2, 2008 9:59 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Suck on that...
Warrior fans...That felt so good...I imagine they will settle down with all the trash talking about owning the Mavs...

by smt83 on Jan 2, 2008 10:28 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

THAT WAS FUN
i had great seats tonight (bragging)... what a game to see... a beautiful 4th quarter... dirk was amazing... his defense was so great... brandon bass... the warrior killer!

GO MAVS!

you should read the gosm thread
they are already crying about baron partying too hard for new years. i also saw snippets of them complaining about us running up the score. it was funny to see how the tone of the thread went from mavs are the biggest losers in the world to "mavs have our number now" and "they aren't afraid of us at all anymore..it's over!" beauty.

I'm bummed I didn't get to see this one.
But, I saw highlights and from the box score I see two very encouraging things that makes me not. concerned. about. Golden. State. anymore.

Damp with 13 and 7 with 3 blocks in 27 minutes with only 3 fouls.

Bass with 12 and 11.

Two inside guys that were not there last year during the playoffs. GS still shot 10-23 from the arc and it wasn't enough. I've wondered all off-season whether or not the lack of a healthy inside presence had a lot to do with what happened in the first round last year, and I think I may have found my answer.

Is it still okay to ask to have Damp freeze-dried until April to keep him healhty?

by DitchThePlaybook on Jan 3, 2008 12:04 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

hahaha
what i would give to see the look on damp's face if someone asked him that with a straight face.

by bluefish on Jan 3, 2008 1:31 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I've got it!
We'll encase him in carbonite!

by BrodyV on Jan 3, 2008 1:59 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Brilliant idea.
Also, this is begging for a Han-Solo / Dampier Photoshop mash-up.

by DitchThePlaybook on Jan 3, 2008 2:09 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

hmmmm
I wonder if I could figure out how to do that...

Let's see how much free time I have tonight.
