We all have been

slacking on our in-game comments... I would've thought it would've picked up somewhat after the cowboys got their hats handed to them... maybe after the all star break?

all so defeated from last year's results after the amazing regular season that we just aren't getting as involved...

Funny you mention that.....

...I've sort of felt the same way this season...which is different from seasons past. I think much of it has to do with how it played out last season. It doesn't make me enjoy watching the games any less, but it seems like the stakes are so much lower. The Mavs have handled the tough teams so far this year, and that's enough to reassure me.

Also, a little of it has to do with the fact that we're still on pace with the Spurs, record-wise - at least for me. In recent seasons past, the division was decided by such a slim margin that every game did count if you were trying to win the division - which regardless of what the Mavs camp says publicly, they want home floor against the Spurs.

I'm very interested to see what happens after the all-star break.
