OK, four in a row against Eastern Conference teasm with losing records doesn't really compare to what the the Rockets have going, but it has left me feeling better about things. Hopefully a fifth big win will come tomorrow against Miami and the momentum carries over to the next three games which are HUGE -- Lakers Tuesday, Boston Thursday, Spurs on Sunday. Dallas is currently two games behind the Hornets for home court in the first round.

It sound like the players all it's time to start turning it on.

"I think so far we've made improvement," said Dirk Nowitzki. "I don't think we've been really consistent over a whole game yet. But we've shown some great stretches.

"We'll see how far we are next week when teams challenge us more. Hopefully, Jason [Kidd] can use these games to get more and more adjusted to what we're doing. And Josh [Howard] is playing at a high level again."

Jan Hubbard wrote yesterday about Josh Howard staring to turn the corner. Obviously J5 playing well is kind of important...
