Good teams...

We play such horrible defense against any team that is halfway decent. Already given up 24 and Kobe can't miss.

Apparently we also play horrible offensively against good teams. There is something fundamentally wrong with this team. I am not saying it wasn't there before the trade. We need desperately to find that defensive presence that can turn a game in our favor.

havent heard those come from the AAC in a long time... well now that I think of it, ever.

What a disappointing 1st half... in so many different ways. How we come out shooting jumpers, and only figure out to go the rim later still amazes me. However I cant say the officiating has been great either for both sides...

But we are not going there... this about what this team is not doing right, and there are plenty of things that need adjusting. Things like rebounds, turnovers and defense are all a matter of will... and we surely didnt show any of it in the first half.

Why we play so different against the top teams is just baffling. Its like we come out thinking "oh look, a top 5 team, lets go back to everything we used to do by playing no defense and iso offense. 5 assists? Wow...

or do we approach these games like Stack suggests?...

It won't make or break us.

At some point this relaxed approach to the season, games, Jason Kidds roll, and everything else has to go away if they want to win. If they dont see these games as must wins, what makes them think they can do it later? In what lifetime or other universe have they ever proved to themselves that they CAN when it REALLY counts?

This is the same type of arrogant attitude that they had with GS last year in not taking them nor their games against them seriously until it was too late and they had already gotten into our heads... How is last years approach of not respecting a team thats owned you for two years, any different than us looking at games against ALL the teams that you will most likely see in the playoffs as if we lose, its not going to break us?

When does it become, "if we dont win these games, its gonna break us. Thats how important these games are!"

I write this up during the quarter where we EVERYONE was attacking the rim, got in the bonus with 8 min left, and wouldnt ya know out score the Lakers in the 3rd??
