The Pistons have reached a tentative agreement with the Nuggets to trade Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess in exchange for Allen Iverson.
That would solve the Nuggets' point guard problems and Iverson is clearly not happy in Denver. Neither player attended today's shootaround, and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith says the deal could be completed any minute. The big question is whether Iverson plays point guard or shooting guard in Detroit. Either way, he's going to gobble up a ton of guard minutes, which may not be great news for Rodney Stuckey and Rip Hamilton. Then again, some feel the move may have been made to clear the way for Stuckey to start. Iverson has been walking through the motions in Denver, so this news is not all that surprising.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Joseph Addai will miss 2-4 weeks with a slightly torn hamstring. The story is coming up as an error on Schefter's blog, but we have confirmed the news with him. With Mike Hart out for the year, Dominic Rhodes is going to get most of the carries, although Tony Dungy said he will use Clifton Dawson and Chad Simpson, who both were just added to the active roster. Addai's inability to hit 300 carries will continue this season and has prevented him from being a consistent fantasy difference maker. Oct. 15 - 3:17 pm et

I am traveling up from DFW for my first game ever at Lambeau... will be sporting the white peyton jersey, and maybe a colts stocking cap if its cold!

If you are going to be there, are there going to be any Colts tailgates going on... or if you are a Lambeau veteran... should I hit up as many tailgates as possible...?

here's hoping my seats are next to other colts fans!

ESPN reporting the deal is imminent... this time with trenton hassel and KVH contract instead of dgeorge and stackhouse...

all i know is that we better have another deal comign soon that gets us some big man help...

its time to embrace the deal... i was never on board with this from the get go... but i love this team, and I will support it....

According to Norm Hitzges on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket... Devean George has rethought and supposedly agreed to this deal and it is going to happen...

I am not seeing it anywhere... but norm usually knows what he is talking about...

Sports Illustrated stuck with the Mavs in their mid-season report and picked us to win it all still... i wonder if they would change their mind if they saw this deal...

Well... did anybody else see his most recent power rankings? I dont know how he computes this stuff, but something is clearly wrong. The Spurs are  8.5 games behind the mavs, they have lost twice to us. They are 7-4 in their last 11 games. The Mavs on the other hand are on their way to 10-0 in their last 10, and they are 30-2 in their last 32.... but somehow the Spurs are #1.... hell if the mavs lose tonight we may fall out of the top 10.
