Another televised preseason game tonight at 7:30, and according to Sefko, Jason Terry, Jerry Stackhouse, and Erick Dampier will all sit out the game again - JET and Stack have yet to dress this preseason.

Darius Washington has been waived. That leaves just Barea and Ebi competing for roster spot on the Mavs - in the end though it could be neither.

Art Garcia and Dwain Price both had articles about Devin Harris in their respective papers this morning.
Price focuses on his health and it's importance for Mavs season.
At one point during Thursday's 88-71 preseason win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Devin Harris made a nifty baseline move and finished with a dunk.
It was a strong indication that Harris is no longer worrying about a quadriceps injury that has hampered him during training camp.
What Price didn't add is that after that dunk by Harris he blocked a shot on the other end of the floor ran the ball back down the court, crossed over his man and made a jumpshot. It was nice sequence for Harris and leads into Eddie Sefko's article who thinks it's just as important for Harris to improve his jumpshot as it is to stay healthy.

But the spotlight is on Harris not for what he can do, which is slash to the basket, but for what he needs to improve this season. His athleticism is undeniable. But he spent all off-season working on his midrange jump shot.
The results have been slow to come. Coaches have not yet seen Harris make shots consistently in practice. In the exhibition against Milwaukee, take away the dazzling slam, and he was 3-of-8 from the field, including 0-of-2 on 3-pointers.
