Community Projections: Dirk Nowitzki

Those of you who read Lone Star Ball know what this is all about.

Over the next ten days or so I'll be posting something like this with one of the Mavs and a few statistical categories. Make your prediction then we'll average them out and compare how we did as a group at the end of the season.

I might choose some different stats depending on the player, but for Dirk we'll go with the classics.

• Points per game
• Rebounds per game
• Assists per game

Dirk set a career high in points last season with 26.6 per game. I'll think he'll be right around there again this season but with more assists and that he'll crack double digits in rebound for the first time. My projection: 26.2 ppg, 3.8 apg, 10.1 rpg.
