Adrian Griffin returns to the AAC with the 3-3 Bulls to try and stop the Mavs two game winning streak. Just like the Mavs, Chicago has had a disappointing start to the season. Coach Skiles will apparently make some changes to his lineup tonight putting Chris Duhon in the starting five in place of slumping Ben Gordon. And Chicago's very good rookies, Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha, are injured but expected to play.

Garcia has an article about all the advice Stackhouse was getting during the Mavs 0-4 start to the season.

Dwain Price takes a look at all the technical fouls being called. I thought this was a funny quote from Dampier on the subject.

"I guess you've just got to act like there's an imaginary friend out there and act like you're talking to yourself," Mavs center Erick Dampier said. "Don't even look at the refs. Just act like you're talking to yourself. Then, who are they going to give the 'T' to? What are they going to tech you for? You're talking to yourself."

And Eddie Sefko thinks the Mavs losing streak helped the Mavs remember their style of play.
Whatever it takes. It's what the Mavericks did most of last season, particularly in the playoffs.

They haven't been close to that level of intensity so far. That will come when the stakes rise later in the season. When you've played for the championship, garden-variety games can be tougher to get charged up for.
