Dwain Price looks at Josh Howard's fanastic play since the Utah game.

During that span against the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia, New Orleans/Oklahoma City and Sacramento, Howard averaged 23.8 points and 5.3 rebounds, and was 34-of-61 (54 percent) from the field.

Coach Avery Johnson has played Howard more in a point forward position, and believes that has helped elevate his game.

"He's passed the ball much better this year than he did last year," Johnson said. "He's real cerebral this year.

"He really is beating teams with his brain. If the shot's there, he takes it. If it's not there, he moves it. He's setting screens, and he's running the offense."
