Dwain Price looks at Josh Howard's fanastic play since the Utah game.

During that span against the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia, New Orleans/Oklahoma City and Sacramento, Howard averaged 23.8 points and 5.3 rebounds, and was 34-of-61 (54 percent) from the field.

Coach Avery Johnson has played Howard more in a point forward position, and believes that has helped elevate his game.

"He's passed the ball much better this year than he did last year," Johnson said. "He's real cerebral this year.

"He really is beating teams with his brain. If the shot's there, he takes it. If it's not there, he moves it. He's setting screens, and he's running the offense."

Sefko's got an article about JET playing in his hometown tonight.

David Moore thinks the Iverson trade made Denver better, but sill more interesting than threatening.

Injury Update: Anthony Johnson is fully expected to suit up tonight against the Sonics - whether or not he plays is a different question entirely.

Ray Allen, Danny Fortson, and Robert Swift are all out for Seattle.

Down in the D-League: Maurice Ager made his debut last night. Ager went 28 minutes, scoring 16 points on 5-9 shooting. He attempted two three pointers, making one, and got to the line for 5 freebies. He also had four rebounds and four turnovers.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu, in his second Fort Worth appearance, grabbed 12 boards on his way to fouling out in 25 minutes.

Around the League: Phoenix has now won 15 in a row.
