In Art Garcia's game recap, he gives some explanation why Stackhouse went scoreless.
Stackhouse hadn't been held without a point when logging at least 18 minutes since May 2, 1999, when he was still playing for Detroit. He said he was playing with a strained groin and likely won't be in the lineup Saturday against Denver.
"I just wanted to play against them," Stackhouse said.

And Sefko talked to Popeye Jones about how he's worked with Dampier on improving his hands.
One of the reasons is because of a technique that developmental coach Popeye Jones learned while playing at Murray State. It involves filling a basketball halfway with water, making it bounce and float through the air in a most unbalanced manner.
Jones had the same sort of problem when he was in college, and his coaches at Murray worked with him by using a lopsided, heavier ball.
The results have been impressive. Dampier is having one of the best runs of his three-year Mavericks career. He had 12 points and six rebounds against the Pistons on Thursday.
