As expected, Dirk signed a three year extension for the max tonight. The max contract will keep Dirk under Dallas control through the 2010-2011 season. That means barring some sort of unthinkable trade we will be watching Dirk be awesome as a Maverick for five more seasons and hopefully beyond.
