From my pregame thread about the first match:
The reason for the win was pretty obvious; they shot 50% and scored 111 points against one of the better teams in the league. Dallas also got great play from the 5 position as both Erick Dampier (14pts 13 reb) and Diop (5 blocks) outplayed Ben Wallace.
What the hell happened tonight? 31% shooting, 85 points, and Big Ben outrebounded Diop and Damp combined. Horrible jump shooting and questionable effort -- is this what it's like being a fan of the Cavs?Rating | Avg | - | |
Dirk Nowitzki | 8 | 8.4 | He tried to make it interesting |
Jason Terry | 6 | 7.2 | Couldn't defend Gordon to save his life |
Josh Howard | 4 | 7.9 | Part of me was saying shoot your way out of it. The other part of me was yelling STOP SHOOTING! |
DeSagana Diop | 7 | 6 | Two pretty nice games in a row |
Anthony Johnson | 4 | 5.8 | His three minutes were pointless |
Jerry Stackhouse | 7 | 6.5 | Kept Dallas in the game in the second quarter. |
Greg Buckner | 6 | 6.1 | Active - just that was enough to stand out |
Devin Harris | 5 | 7.1 | Went unnoticed |
Erick Dampier | 6 | 6.8 | Usually a bad sign when he's better on the offensive end |
Devean George | 5 | 6.5 | Not a good game... |
