Stat of the Day

Eddie Sefko pointed this one out at the bottom of his article today, and I was pretty surprised by it.

Everybody talks about LeBron James and Kobe Bryant as two of the most versatile players in the league, but Dirk Nowitzki is one up on both of them.

Nowitzki's 32-point, 11-rebound, 5-assist night against Sacramento on Saturday was the fourth time this season he's posted 30-10-5 numbers in a game.

James and Bryant each have done it three times.

I really don't see Dirk's pace of 30/10/5 games slowing down and he could even end up with more than 10 by the time the season is over. I think LeBron James could easily over take him though (he had 12 last season).

For the year, Dirk has twelve 30 point games, 28 ten rebound games, and twelve 5 assist games.

Last year he had 25 30 point games, 35 ten rebound games, and 12 five assist games. He only had two 30/10/5 games all of last season.
