The Mavs play the Kings in New Mexico tonight, and I can't wait to see the starting lineup -- especially at center.
Erick Dampier is is obviously out. DJ Mbenga is getting close, but isn't ready quite yet. Training camp invite Jamal Sampson sprained an ankle and didn't make the trip. And now, DeSagana Diop has returned home to Dallas with "flu-like symptoms".
That leaves approximately zero centers available for the game. My guess is that Avery will go with a starting frontcourt of Dirk and Brandon Bass, but nothing would surprise me.
