Here's what I remember hearing during his postgame interview.
"Bone spurs hit -- I tried to loosen it up during halftime, but it just wouldn't. There's really no point pushing anything at this point in the season so Avery told me to sit. It was tough watching the guys at the end of a close game, especially having to listen to Bob Ortegal.
I'll definitely play Friday, but it will probably be sore for a week or two."
