Eddie Sefko - Mavericks win in Oklahoma City

These Mavericks are better equipped to handle tough situations, a fact driven home at the Ford Center with a strong-willed 100-86 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Eddie Sefko - Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs defense turn up the heat on Kevin Durant and the debut of the "Creamsicle"

It was a night of orange shoes for Kevin Durant. But his footwear was the only hot thing he had going Wednesday night.

Brandon George (Dallas News) - Jason Kidd and how time and experience have changed his game.

At 36, Jason Kidd certainly isn't as quick as he once was. But the criticism he sometimes receives for not being the defender he was earlier in his career is unwarranted, his teammates say.

Age slows everyone down but for most, it also brings wisdom. Kidd's not always going to be able to outrun the NBA's quickest guards, but he certainly can still hold them down by outsmarting them.

AP ESPN - Dallas Mavericks win in Oklahoma City

Nowitzki scored 13 of his 35 points in the final 8 minutes and the Mavericks used a late surge to spoil Durant's sneaker debut and beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-86 Wednesday night for their fifth straight win.

NBA.com - Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks get victory over Kevin Durant and Thunder.

In a nationally televised battle between superstars, Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki had one of his better games, scoring 35 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant had one of his worst, scoring just 12 points and committing four turnovers.

Hopefully there is some video out there of Jason Kidd getting even with Referee Scott Wall, after Wall calls a foul on Kidd that he did not agree with.
